G700 Home is open on the car's screen. Press Home on the car and the strip appears above the dock; tap + to add widgets. You can unplug the cable now.
Some permissions didn't go through. Open G700 Home on the car and run the one-tap setup.
Not working?
- The car isn't in the list: check the cable carries data, it's in the right port, and ADB is on in the car.
- “Couldn't open the car's USB connection”: close every ADB tool (or run adb kill-server). On Windows the car's ADB interface needs the WinUSB driver; the Google USB Driver provides it.
- Stuck on “Tap Allow”: look at the car's main screen; the prompt can hide behind another app.
- “A different build is on the car”: uninstall G700 Home on the car, then try again.
- You can always install by hand instead: download the APK on the car and run the one-tap setup in the app.
